Etymology
"Lena" is a diminutive or short form for names that end with "-line", such as Caroline, Adeline, and Madeline. Leana is also a Hindi, Russian and Swedish name. The Scandinavian version for the name Helen is Lena; in this case, it means "torch", metaphorically representing something that shows light and leads the path.
"McFadden" is a Scottish and Irish patronymic surname meaning "son of little Patrick". The Celtic prefix "Mc" means "son of", while "Fadden" is derived from the Gaelic "Páidín", meaning "little Patrick".
History
Before The Neptune Project
Nere and Lena used to be great friends who swam with Nere's dolphins a lot. The summer they both turned ten, however, Lena stopped being Nere's friend for unknown reasons.
